Tea itself is not without its own history, but the leaves that make the tea also are profoundly mesmerizing. This tea fact is that the act of dried leaves becoming saturated with the water and unfurling is known as "the agony of the leaves." This book opened my eyes to a history I knew little of but was eager to know more about.
